Forex Position Size Calculator
Enter your balance, the percentage you are willing to risk and your stop loss in pips. The position size calculator returns the lot size, the pip value of the position and the margin required under US leverage rules (50:1 on major pairs, 20:1 on others). It remembers your last inputs, and the “copy a link” button lets you share a calculation.
Use it: before every trade, once your stop is placed on the chart.
Pip Value, Margin and Profit/Loss Calculators
- Pip value calculator: what one pip is worth in dollars for any pair, for standard, mini and micro lots.
- Margin calculator: margin required under US 50:1 and 20:1 leverage, free margin, effective leverage and the largest position you can open.
- Profit and loss calculator: the result of a buy or sell trade in pips and dollars.
Use them: to compare pairs, check that a position fits your account, and review closed trades.
Fibonacci and Pivot Point Calculators
- Fibonacci calculator: retracement levels from 23.6% to 78.6% and 127.2%, 161.8% and 261.8% extension targets for any swing, with the level nearest to the current price.
- Pivot point calculator: daily, weekly or monthly pivots from the previous high, low and close, in Classic, Fibonacci, Woodie and Camarilla versions.
Use them: to mark entry zones and profit targets before the session opens.
Forex Market Hours Clock
The live market hours clock shows the current New York time, which of the Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions are open, and a countdown to each open and close. It also flags the London–New York overlap, the most active hours of the day.
Use it: to trade your pair when it is most liquid and to avoid thin, wide-spread hours.
Martingale Simulator
The martingale simulator runs hundreds of random trading sequences and compares doubling the stake after every loss with risking the same amount on every trade. Change the win rate, reward-to-risk and balance, and see how often each method blows the account.
Use it: before trying any “never lose” grid or recovery system.
How to Use These Tools Together
- Check the session clock and trade when your pair’s market is open.
- Place your stop where the setup is invalid, then size the trade with the calculator.
- Keep the risk per trade fixed; the simulator shows why doubling down fails.
All tools are for education and practice. Results do not include spreads, commissions or slippage, and trading forex on margin carries a high level of risk. Test everything on a demo account first.
